Daniel Mossop is the National Manager of Policy, Rules and Guidance at AUSTRAC, Australia’s financial intelligence agency and anti-money laundering regulator.  

Dan joined AUSTRAC in April 2022 to lead the former Education, Communications and Capability branch. The current Policy, Rules and Guidance branch is dedicated to supporting preparations for legislative reform and the upcoming FATF mutual evaluation in 2025.  

Daniel’s expertise covers anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), and regulatory policy and he is a regular speaker at industry events,
